Claude Montana has been called " The Leader of Paris fashion". Montana collections are based on monochromatic fabrics and lots of leather and wool.
Claude Montana, born in Paris in 1949, began his career by designing bike's leather for the French leather company called Mac Douglas. His first fashion show took place in 1976 and his rise was meteoric.
He designed Haute Couture for the House of Lanvin, where he won two consecutive Golden Thimble awards.
In 1981, he designed his first collection for men.
Perfectionism and exigency define the Montana collections.
