Add to My Registry

This scarf is ornate with hydrangeas patterns borrowed from John Singer Sargent's portrait of Ernest-Ange Duez, painted around 1884.

Duez was a landscape and flower painter and a friend of the Impressionnists.

He posed for Sargent in front of one of his own painting.

The frieze made of pink flowers and green leaves creates a very decorative effect.
