This blue toned scarf is inspired by the paintings of Edgar Degas. Particularly well-known for his works depicting the subject of dance, the colors and brush strokes of the scarf echo those in his paintings of dancers. The scarf is edged in blue silk thread with a sweeping "Degas" signature at one end.

He is regarded as one of the founders of Impresssionism, although he rejected the term and preferred to be called a realist.
